* Experience within the dining or housekeeping industries is an asset but more so is your aptitude and willingness to learn the way we love to do things at the lodge. Training will be provided!
* An eye for the smallest details. Whether it’s cleaning the guest rooms or keeping an eye on the guests needs at dinner service, someone who takes care of the little things will not only be most welcomed at the lodge, but the tips will almost certainly reflect this.
* Being physically fit to carry the cleaning equipment and dinner plates is a must. You don’t have to be a tri-athlete but please make sure you understand there is a physical component to this job that is not suitable for everyone
* Serving it Right is an asset but not required.
* Do you speak Spanish, French, Italian or another language? Many of our out of town guests come from Europe and having a second language is definitely an asset albeit not required.
* Someone who is efficient. Better to work smart then to just work hard.
* Having patience, a warm smile and a good sense of humour will definitely help as you will be working with guests from around the world.
* Someone who shows up every day and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, taking pride in putting in a solid workday and getting the job done well!
* We also have a dress code policy as our staff work front of house with our guests (this includes such things no visible tattoos or body piercings beyond standard ear piercings, or anything else that may offend our guests)
